The Olympus LT-1 of 1995 was a fully automatic "designer" compact aimed at travellers requiring a good-looking point and shoot with a prime lens. The LT-1 is pretty much the same as an mju i. With the lens cover closed, the camera looked more like a wallet. It was the first in the Olympus LT (leather tech) series, and was followed in 1996 by a QD version with a Quartzdate function. The camera was available in four colours: brown, burgundy, black & green.
- Lens: 35mm, f/3.5
- Other features: DX decoding, motordrive, lens protection so no case was required
