Hasselblad 2000FC with Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm f/2.8 lens. This camera also comes with the original manual, a Hasselblad top-down viewer and an extra lens - Carl Zeiss Distagon 50mm f/4 lens!

The Hasselblad 2000FC is a 6x6 medium-format SLR camera released in 1977. The Hasselblad 2000FC is built around the Hasselblad V lens mount, placing it firmly within the iconic V-System ecosystem. It uses a metal construction body featuring a titanium focal plane shutter — a notable engineering detail visible right in the body design specs. The camera is powered by a 6V battery (PX28 or equivalent), which drives the electronic focal plane shutter, and it offers flash synchronisation via a PC sync socket with X-sync at 1/90s.

Focusing is entirely manual, with no autofocus system of any kind, making it a camera that rewards deliberate, considered shooting technique. The viewfinder system is interchangeable, accepting either a waist-level finder or a prism, giving photographers meaningful flexibility in how they compose and work. The body weighs 1,560g and measures approximately 180 x 114 x 107mm — substantial dimensions in line with the medium format film camera class.

Specifications:

• Shutter System: Titanium foil focal-plane shutter (1 sec to 1/2000 sec, plus B and C modes).
• Lens Compatibility:  Compatible with the full range of Hasselblad V-System lenses (also referred to as the System C/F mount), including the highly regarded Zeiss-designed optics spanning wide-angle to telephoto focal lengths.
• Flash Sync: Syncs at 1/90 sec with focal plane (F) lenses. When using leaf shutter (C) lenses, flash sync is possible at all speeds up to 1/500 sec.
• Mirror: Instant return mirror (a major upgrade over the 500-series, which lacked this feature).
• Power: Requires a 6V PX28 battery (or 4LR44, depending on the specific model) to power the electronic shutter.
