Junktion began as a hobby at the Takapuna Sunday markets with one table and a few cameras after collecting for many years. After creating our Instagram, things started growing really fast! We opened a physical store in late 2019, located in St Kevins Arcade on Karangahape Road, and have been here ever since!

In 2022, we released our own brand of point-and-shoot film cameras, Candid. We are incredibly proud of Candid and the positive reception it has received from both new and experienced photographers.

Today, Junktion is one of New Zealand's largest film camera stores, specialising in quality second-hand cameras, film, lenses, and photography accessories. Whether you're buying your first camera, adding to a collection, or looking for some advice, our knowledgeable and friendly staff are always eager to share their expertise and offer advice.
