Refund policy

At Junktion, we take pride in carefully testing and describing every item we sell. If something isn't right, we'll do our best to make it right.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

We gladly accept returns within 30 days of delivery or collection if:

  • The item arrives with a fault that was not disclosed at the time of purchase.
  • The item develops an issue related to an existing fault.
  • You received the wrong item.

Please inspect your order as soon as possible and contact us if you believe there is a problem.

Assessment & Repairs

Before a refund, replacement, or store credit is issued, Junktion reserves the right to inspect and assess any item reported as faulty or defective.

Where possible, we will first attempt to resolve the issue through servicing and repair. Some camera-related issues can be fixed quickly without the need for a return.

If the fault cannot be reasonably repaired, or a repair is not practical, we will offer a refund, replacement, or store credit in accordance with New Zealand consumer law.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases.

In some cases, we may offer an exchange or store credit at our discretion. If you're unsure, please get in touch, and we'll see what we can do.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be returned in the same condition it was received.
  • All included accessories, packaging, and documentation must be returned where applicable.
  • Proof of purchase must be provided.

Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll let you know whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that banks and payment providers may take additional time to process the refund.
