LEICA M6 PANDA IN CANADA

Here at Junktion, we recently got our hands on a bit of a special one - a Leica M6 Panda Edition that’s already seen a bit of the world before ending back in the shop. Adam took this film camera with him through Canada, carrying it through the busy streets of Vancouver to Montreal and some of the more rural parts of the country, shooting 35mm rolls the whole trip. A few photos from the trip are included below, which honestly feels like the best way to show what this camera is all about.
This particular one is the Leica M6 “Panda” Edition, a nickname given to a variation of the silver chrome M6 Classic produced in the late 80s and early 90’s. What makes it different is the contrast between the silver body and the black controls, such as the winding lever, rewind crank, and shutter speed dial, which gives it a distinctive black-and-silver “panda” look. It’s subtle, but definitely one of the nicer M6 variations out there.
Despite travelling through Canada, this one has stayed in near mint condition. It has been properly looked after while still being used the way a classic camera should be!
Now it’s up for sale at Junktion, ready for wherever it ends up next.
