Rodehüser Panta 6x6 with the original case!
The Rodehüser Panta 6x6 is a vintage, medium-format viewfinder camera produced by the German company Dr. Rodehüser around 1950. It is a solid, well-built camera made with a die-cast aluminium body and a collapsible lens system.
Specifications:
- Type: Viewfinder camera.
- Film Type: Uses 120 roll film.
- Frame Format: Shoots square 6x6 cm images (also referred to as 5x5.4cm in some documentation). A different, smaller version for 127 film was also available.
- Lens: Came with a variety of high-quality lenses, with common options including the Steiner-Bayreuth Steinar 75mm f/2.9 or f/3.5, Schneider Radionar 7.5cm f/3.5, or Dignar 75mm f/4.5 lenses.
- Shutter: Typically fitted with a Prontor-S shutter offering speeds from 1 to 1/300 sec, plus B (Bulb) mode and a self-timer.
- Focusing: The lens tube telescopes out from the body for focusing.
- Body: Solid, heavy die-casting body made of aluminium.
