Released in July 1996, the Casio QV-100 was a pioneering early consumer digital camera. It succeeded the iconic Casio QV-10 by introducing true VGA resolution (640x480 pixels) and expanded internal flash memory to the digital photography market.

Fun Fact: A viral conspiracy theory claimed a spectator at a 1995 Mike Tyson vs. Peter McNeeley boxing match was a time traveller holding a modern smartphone. In reality, tech historians debunked the myth, explaining the device was the Casio QV-100!
