The Hanimex CPM 31 is a silent Super 8 movie camera released around 1976–77. It features a bright f/1.8 9.5–32mm zoom lens with both manual and automatic zoom, manual focusing, and TTL automatic exposure control. The single-lens reflex viewfinder includes an adjustable eyepiece, and film speeds are automatically detected for 25/40 and 100/160 ASA. It shoots at 18 fps with a shutter angle under 180°, and includes a built-in 85A filter that activates with the screw-type movie light socket. Other features include a film counter, retractable and detachable handle, battery check button, and remote control socket. Powered by just 2 AA batteries, it's a lightweight, battery-efficient option for anyone getting into Super 8.
