The Cosina C1s is a 1990s manual-focus, manual-exposure 35mm SLR, featuring a Pentax K mount, a metal vertical-travel shutter (1 to 1/2000 sec), and a built-in TTL light meter with 3-LED display. It is a lightweight, all-mechanical, and simple camera that does not require batteries to operate, except for the light meter (which uses two LR44 batteries). It is highly regarded for its compatibility with numerous affordable K-mount lenses.
