Elmoscope II Anamorphic Lens with original case!
The Elmoscope II has a 2x anamorphic squeeze, meaning it compresses the horizontal field of view by a factor of two. It gives you a wide cinematic aspect ratio when de-squeezed in post or through an anamorphic viewer. It doesn’t have a built-in focus ring. Like many projection anamorphics, it requires a dual-focus setup — you set focus on both your taking lens and the anamorphic lens unless you use a single-focus adapter. Typically, these are clamped onto the front of a taking lens with a lens clamp or rig.
