JVC GR-C1 VideoMovie with original hard case, charger, manual, and other accessories!
This camera was featured in Back to the Future (see the attached photo!)
The JVC GR-C1 VideoMovie was a camcorder released in March 1984 by JVC. The JVC-GR-C1 was the first portable all-in-one camcorder. The GR-C1 records onto VHS-C tapes allowing it to be compatible with VHS VCRs using a provided adapter. The GR-C1 can record up to 30 minutes using a TC-30 video tape. Despite its more compact size, the GR-C1 could only record in monaural audio. The GR-C1 was only one of a few camcorders to use video tubes to produce an image. The GR-C1 uses a 1/2 Inch Hi-Band Saticon Tube to produce a 300 horizontal lines resolution.
