Kodak VISION3 50D / 7203 16mm!
Kodak VISION3 50D is a low-speed, daylight-balanced colour negative movie film characterised by its ability to record a wide dynamic range with increased highlight sensitivity. It has an exposure index of 50 when shot in daylight conditions, and its fine grain structure contributes to notably high image sharpness. As part of the VISION3 series of movie films, this stock has high archival stability and is well-suited to digital post-production processes.
With the removal of the Remjet layer and the incorporation of a process-surviving antistatic and scratch-resistant back side layer, VISION3 50D no longer attracts unwanted sediment and provides a cleaner image for scanning and printing. To ensure sensitometric consistency and interchangeability with previous stocks during shooting, processing, and splicing, VISION3 features an anti-halation protective undercoat layer (AHU) on its emulsion side, and its film support remains an acetate base.
This item is one 100' roll of 16mm colour negative movie film for processing in ECN-2 chemistry. It is perforated on one edge (Winding B) and wound on an R-90 spool for use in-camera, for making optical prints, or for bidirectional printing.
